WHO WE ARE

Pleasant Living LLC was established in Fresno, California in 2022. It is founded on the principles that all persons are created equal and shall have the right to live, to be free, and to be safe. Pleasant Living and its staff have, more than sixty years combined, experience working in the health & social service industry. Our Goal is to develop a team of tenacious individuals who will take charge and lead the change necessary in the industry, so that developmentally disabled adults may have a winning chance at living the life they dream about.

Pleasant Living is a company that cares with purpose. We assist developmentally disabled adults, with goal planning and implementation, for the purpose of enhancing the value and quality of their lives. We strongly believe, with the right service and support system; these adults can live independent and productive lifestyles. Therefore Pleasant Living is committed to do the work necessary to ensure that each individual it serves has the opportunity to pleasantly live their best life possible.

This is why we pride ourselves in the monitoring of progress design we have in place. We want to catch what isn’t working quickly and celebrate what is. Peasant Living tailor makes plans specific to each individual. Each step taken, every service put in place will encourage growth. Our goal for the individuals we serve is to reflect change within the first year of providing service. The consumers are the seeds, our service plans and support is the water and with our commitment to proper implementation growth is inevitable.

Becoming aware of and effectively using the transportation, police, fire, and emergency help available in the community to the general public. Transportation to appointments ,meetings, grocery store and outings.

LIFE SKILLS

LIFE SKILLS

Managing personal financial affairs Recruiting, screening, hiring, training, supervising, and dismissing personal attendants; Dealing with and responding appropriately to governmental agencies and personnel; Asserting civil and statutory rights through self-advocacy; Building and maintaining interpersonal relationships, including a Circle of Support; Participating in community life; and 24-hour emergency assistance, including direct service in response to calls for assistance. This service also includes assisting and facilitating the consumer's efforts to acquire, use, and maintain devices needed to summon immediate assistance when threats to health, safety, and well being.
